《小王子》是法国2015年出品的3D动画奇幻电影，根据安东尼·德·圣-埃克苏佩里同名文学作品改编， 由马克·奥斯本执导，杰夫·布里吉斯、麦肯基·弗依等担任主要配音。
小说是作者结合自己的亲身经历加以大胆想象创作完成的。导演马克·奥斯本在正开展动画制作学业的同时与妻子处在远距离恋爱阶段，当时他获赠了这本妻子的童年读物，一开始奥斯本觉得这本书很难被改编成电影。导演希望这本书能为人们的生活带来些许改变，在撰写剧情时加入了一个小姑娘的个人经历，以及她从书中获得的体验。

导演希望使用不同的技巧来体现不同的精神状态，尝试了不同的展示方式，并认为手动定格图像有着浓郁的童年特点，是体现与成人世界反差的最佳方式。在拍摄制作方面，采用以冷色调为主的CG动画技术呈现小女孩的世界部分，和通过定格拍摄手绘纸模设计的原著角色形象方式相结合，运用了大量暖光和阴影。

该片讲述了一个被夺去童年快乐的小女孩，偶然结识了邻居——年老的飞行员，并根据他回忆的指引，开启了追寻小王子的探索世界之旅。
9岁的小女孩（The Little Girl）在母亲望女成凤的冀望下，遵循吩咐为进入一所好学校拼命努力学习着。但搬迁到了新址后，住在隔壁有些古怪的老人引起了小女孩的兴趣，老人（The Aviator）白天总在修理坏掉了的飞机，晚上就使用望远镜眺望着远方的天空。有一天，女孩瞒过母亲的眼睛和老人成为了好朋友。


老人对女孩讲述了过去年轻时候的回忆，自己曾是飞机驾驶员，在乘着的飞机被迫降落的沙漠中遇到了很不可思议的小男孩。那是他迄今为止对谁都没有说过的故事。“那个男孩，从小小的星球来。并且和一朵玫瑰花是很要好的朋友。”如此这样的话，老人就是那位与星之王子相遇了的飞行员！两个人友好相处着，但不久老人就病倒了。女孩为老人想再见着小王子的愿望，在夜里坐飞机踏上了去寻找小王子的旅行。在那前方，是谁也不知道的感动和冒险在等着他们。

"Forget that I am ashamed," the tippler confessed, hanging his head.

"Ashamed of drinking!" The tippler brought his speech to an end, and shut himself up in an impregnable silence.
