BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
         The China Technical Services team is part of the China Technology Infrastructure organization and is responsible for the implementation and operational management of the end user computing technologies used within Goldman Sachs in Asia. The responsibilities includes the managing the production environment which is critical to the business operations, taking into account business requirements, risk and regulations as well as the deployment, level 3 support and service management of the firm’s Windows, Citrix, Email, Messaging, Collaboration and Mobile infrastructure.
         The principal technologies used by the team are Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Microsoft Exchange. This is a technical role and the candidate will be expected to have proven experience with the above technologies as well as at least one type of centralized application deployment technology, e.g. Marimba or App-V.
     
RESPONSIBILITES
         The successful candidate will work on projects, and support of the workplace products and platforms at critical stages of product lifecycles.
o        Gain understanding of business requirements for workplace solutions
o        Interact with the engineering teams to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements of the Gao Hua businesses including but not limited to usability, productivity and controls
o        Provide level 3 support for Windows-based solutions and products
         He / she will be expected to build strategic relationships with the internal clients as well as the peer Technology teams locally and regionally
         Candidate is also expected to provide subject matter expertise to ensure:
o        Our infrastructure complies with regulatory requirements
o        Control requirements for the workplace products to mitigate risks are in place and effective
o        Services received from technology vendors meet the needs of our business, in a commercial manner
         Ability to interact with the services team to manage expectations/escalations for application developer and business users for services provided by the technical services team
         Ability to assist marshalling of resources and Subject-Matter-Expert’s during incident participation.
         Ability to collect and track remediation for Business units self-identified issues and pain points
         Work with various teams to improve the stability of production environment through governance around systems in the data centres such as migrations treatments, hardware lifecycle management, maintenance windows, BCP capability
         Manage conflict communications among changes and vendors
