Major Responsibilities
         Accountable for the growth of the Financial Services business in financial industries in China, in particular, insurance sector.
         Establish the appropriate business development plan to grow the client base and the business; work with sales functions collaboratively to develop clients.
         Extend and strengthen the delivery capabilities, in particular in the area of Applications, Business Process Outsourcing and Information Technology Outsourcing services.
         Work across the regional and global services teams to meet customer requirements.
         Instill a collaborative working environment within the team and across various business units, functions and geographies within company.
         Strengthen critical linkages with key internal and external partners, identify and drive common initiatives and synergies towards building a stronger customer base.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Ideal Experience
         Excellent Financial Services industry experience. Possess 5 - 8 years track record leading professional services company or in-house financial institutions and has led expertise areas within insurance industry.
         Business development and customer relationship experience. Has successfully developed key accounts and delivered significant businesses, ideally with good exposure to outsourcing business. Established a strong network of contacts within the market.
         Project management and delivery experience. Proven track record of providing customized solutions to meet clients’ specific business needs and helping them to turn globalization into a competitive advantage, reduce and manage costs, speed time-to-market, and increase supply chain visibility and flexibility.
         Hands-on China experience, fluent in English and Mandarin and committed to the China market for the foreseeable future.

o        A proven solutions leader and business partner who possesses excellent executive presence, interpersonal, and negotiating, skills to work with team members and senior management on significant matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.
o        Strong selling capability. Able to convince a large company to outsource their financial operation system to a third party. Has the instinctive ability to understand and address customers’ concerns.
         Collaboration
o        Possesses strong relationship and interaction skills, cultural awareness and organizational sensitivities. Actively engages with a wide group of management, support personnel, clients and partners to implement business solutions.
o        Able to pull the team together within a matrix organization that deals with customers at a variety of levels. Will step up and be the internal leader, as well as external face of the company.
o        Robust, commercial and straight forward but sensitive to others’ opinions. Able to stand their ground in a constructive and appropriate fashion and support his/her views with analyses and findings.
         People Leadership
o        Brings a reputation for developing organization and its capabilities from within; grooming high performing teams and building a people-centric business.
o        Able to form a seasoned, superior team to ensure the depths and skill sets required to delivery specific solutions. A developer of people who possesses special skills in picking/training talent, delegating responsibility, motivating subordinates and developing a dynamic and successful business organization.
